Industrial Filter

Industrial Filter

Industrial Centrifugal Filter is the pressurization rotary drum filter, integrating washing, extracting, evaporating, and drying is a piece of closed equipment that realizes solid-liquid separation after continuously and automatically retaining the solid granules in the liquid and solid mixture by using porous rotary drum filtering media.

Types of Industrial Centrifugal Filters

There are two types of industrial centrifugal filter for sale, including Continuous Rotary Drum Pressure Filter and Nutsche Filter.

01
The pressurization rotary drum centrifugal separator filter, integrating washing, extracting, evaporating and drying, is a piece of closed equipment that realizes solid-liquid separation after continuously and automatically retaining the solid granules in the liquid and solid mixture by using porous rotary drum filtering media.
02
Nutsche multiple function filtering washing and drying facility (three in one) can finish a series of processes such as stirring, reaction, filtering, washing, dehydration and drying(repulping can also be processed), etc. With its simple structure and simplified working process, it has a higher efficiency, easier exchanging of product and good performance of automation without any cross-contamination. Meanwhile, cleaning plant building and basic investing fee can be reduced.

SAIDELI'S Industrial Centrifugal  Filter Working Principle

The main functions of the centrifugal filter devices are washing, filtering, and drying. The washing process of centrifugal filter unit is accomplished by spraying the washing liquid with a spray ball or a cleaning ring set on the top head. Filtration is mainly accomplished by the filter screen or cloth on the chassis, and the porous plate flange and the porous plate filter disc are installed on the body to seal. The function of the drying part is realized by a heating system of semi-circular coil or integral jacket, bottom coil or jacket and agitator. When drying, hot water or steam can be injected into a semi-circular jacket and agitator.

Advantages of Industrial Centrifugal Filters

Cost-Effective Operation: Industrial centrifugal filters are designed for continuous and automated operation, ensuring a steady and uninterrupted filtration process. Unlike traditional filters, centrifugal filters utilize centrifugal force to separate liquids from solids, eliminating the need for filter media replacement or additional labor. This results in significant cost savings throughout the filters' operational lifespan.

Effective Solid-Liquid Separation: Centrifugal  separator filters employ the principle of differential settling to simultaneously separate water and solids from oil, resulting in clarified liquids and concentrated solids.

Consistent Product Quality: The continuous and automated nature of industrial centrifugal filters contributes to consistent product quality by ensuring uniform separation and processing in industrial applications.

Closed System: The industrial centrifuge filter unit is typically enclosed, creating a closed system that is advantageous for processes involving hazardous or sensitive materials.

High Throughput: These industrial centrifugal water filter can handle large volumes of liquid and solid mixtures, making them suitable for industrial-scale applications with high throughput requirements.

Versatility: Adaptability for various applications, including washing, extracting, evaporating, and drying, making them versatile for a wide range of industries and processes. Continuous Rotary Vacuum Drum Filter is suitable for tasks requiring a constant and automated filtration process. Nutsche Filter is commonly used for batch filtration processes, making it suitable for applications where discrete filtering steps are preferred.

Industrial Centrifugal Filter FAQs

q
What is the difference between a horizontal filter separator and pressure drum filter?
a

They have different designs and operating principles. General speaking, horizontal filter separators are more commonly used in the oil and gas industry for gas stream filtration. Pressure drum filters are often employed in industries where fine filtration of liquids is required, such as pharmaceuticals and chemical processing.

q
What is a centrifugal filter?
a

A centrifugal separator  filter is a type of filtration equipment that utilizes centrifugal force to separate solid particles from liquid in a mixture. It typically consists of a rotating drum or cone-shaped container.

q
Can industrial centrifugal filters handle different particle sizes?
a

Yes, industrial centrifugal filters can handle a wide range of particle sizes, typically ranging from 0.5 microns to over 200 microns, depending on the density of the particles.

q
Is centrifugal filtration a form of sedimentation?
a

Centrifugal filtration relies on the application of centrifugal force through high-speed rotation, while sedimentation relies on gravity causing particles to settle over time. Centrifugation is an accelerated form of sedimentation. Most traditional filtration methods use a filter media to remove particles. As the liquid/solid material passes through the filter, the solid material is collected and removed. Notably, the centrifugation process eliminates the requirement for disposable filter media altogether.
