When using the industrial centrifuge, we all know that they belong to high-speed machines. Therefore, in the process of using them, we must follow the rules and regulations and product instructions to avoid unnecessary danger.
Commonly used centrifuges are generally fixed in two ways: one is with a foundation and the other is without a foundation. With a foundation, the machine is fixed with corner screws or a baffle to prevent movement. Without a foundation, a rubber pad is placed at the bottom or a damping hydraulic shock absorber is used to connect the centrifuge and the shock absorber. The damping oil and spring cushioning effect are used to achieve shock absorption and prevent displacement of the centrifuge. After placing the centrifuge, it needs to be levelled and installed on a level surface or platform.
The centrifuge generally uses an explosion-proof motor, so when installing it, an explosion-proof hose needs to be connected to the motor position. If there are other electrical appliances, explosion-proof pipes need to be added for operation. If the control cabinet is not on-site, an explosion-proof button needs to be installed on-site, as well as protective devices for detecting dangerous gases. After the circuit is connected, the motor's running direction needs to be adjusted. Generally, according to the instructions specified by the industrial centrifuge machine manufacturer, ensure that the machine's rotating direction is correct.
Firstly, before adding material to the centrifuge, we need to place a filter cloth inside the rotating drum of the machine. The filter cloth should be placed evenly and smoothly without any folds or misalignment. Otherwise, when adding materials, the unbalanced cloth will cause vibration, which affects production and safety. After placing the filter cloth, close the centrifuge's outer casing and lock the handle device. Then start the centrifuge in industry and begin adding materials once the speed reaches the frequency of adding material.
After a period of adding materials, we need to check if the material is already full by observing the position of the machine's liquid outlet. Generally, if the material is too much to be separated and overflows from the liquid outlet, we can control the adding time of material according to the situation of the liquid discharge. Once the industrial centrifuge machine has been filled with material, stop adding the material and make the centrifuge enter high-speed operation.
Similarly, we can also determine if the material is already dry by observing the condition of the liquid outlet. If there is no liquid flowing out of the liquid outlet, we can basically determine that the material has been dried and can proceed to the next step of washing (some do not require washing). After washing the material through the washing pipe and ensuring it is cleaned, we can perform the last operation by turning off the power switch of the centrifuge to stop it and then discharge the material. There are manual and bag types of discharging according to the model used! This completes the basic operation process of the centrifuge in industry.
