The main purpose of a horizontal decanter centrifuge is to continually separate the material fed into it, which necessitates the machine removing the material that has previously been separated inside it so that it can process the new material that enters it.

1. The spiral's role within the horizontal decanter centrifuge

The action of the internal spiral of the decanter centrifuge can be considered to be the "soul" of the decanter centrifuge's operation, especially when dealing with material separation. Without the right operation of the spiral, the centrifuge would not be able to perform its primary purpose. We naturally think of the feeding pump and the dosing pump when it comes to the feeding system, but the key equipment is the decanter centrifuge's various outlets to be "open up". The outlets of the decanter centrifuge is the slag system under the solid slag discharge port and the outlet pipeline of the separated liquid, as well as the corresponding valves on the outlet pipeline. If the centrifuge's outlet is blocked, the discharged material will quickly spread or block the centrifuge's drum system, causing strong friction with the high-speed drum and strong vibration and noise until the centrifuge overloads and stops, resulting in serious solids blockage inside the centrifuge.

The liquid discharged is clear in color. If it is very turbid, it is a precursor to blockage; if the clear liquid is discharged from the liquid port and the solid residue is discharged from the solid residue port, we must pay close attention to the discharge of the clear liquid and wait for the solid residue to accumulate inside the centrifuge until it is discharged. 2. Lubrication precautions for horizontal decanter centrifuge

(1) When filling new oil, the brand and oil quality must be recognized. It is strictly forbidden to use an unknown brand or to introduce impurities of lubricating oil into the differential. Due to its hidden parts, it is difficult to observe the lubrication effect. Therefore, regular grease replacement is necessary to ensure lubrication measures, especially for high temperature materials or frequent hot water cleaning conditions.

(2) Thin oil lubrication: thin oil lubrication If the main bearing adopts thin oil forced circulation lubrication, the pressure oil should be fed into the bearing seat by the oil supply station, and the lubricated oil is returned to the tank through the return pipe, and the heat generated by the bearing is taken away at the same time.

(3) Every shift should check the oil level in the oil tank. If it is insufficient, it should be replenished as soon as possible; if it is deteriorating, it should be replaced immediately. It should be adjusted according to the flow and bearing temperature changes, such as bearing temperature. Oil supply should be increased accordingly to ensure horizontal decanter centrifuge adequate lubrication and removal of excess heat.
